Wield Words, Build Worlds.
A quiet passion for words and what wielding them yields. A desire to create and learn, whatever the medium.
In 2019, I graduated from the University of Lausanne with an MA in English Language and Literature and a specialisation in Literary Translation. My particular interests are British Romanticism and Contemporary African American literature, and I translate to and from French.
From the age of 5 and my first classical guitar lessons, I’ve always had a steady practice in music too. As a teenager, I started writing songs and performing with my sisters at a local level. In 2022 I jumped back in as a solo artist, and am currently recording an EP with my band, Lila and the Warblers. Our first single ” Go Your Own Way” is still played on Swiss national radio.
Words, voice, language, communication, reflection – hunting for knowledge. This is what Wield Words represents, and would like to pursue on any level possible.
